Cattle Feeder Plans
This steer feeder is a simple design that I built for many of my neighbors. It opens by completely tilting the whole roof to one side, making it easy to fill, or access for cleanout if necessary.
I built them as a sideline and didn’t advertise much, but many of them were sold by word-of-mouth through satisfied customers. They are built with green-treated lumber and have proven to be a low-maintenance and minimal labor way to feed cattle.
