Bundling or wrapping firewood adds value to the product and can increase the value of the wood tenfold.
For Example, An 8-inch-diameter bundle of firewood 12 inches long will sell for from 3 to 9 dollars, depending on your region.
There are approximately 225 bundles of this size in a cord of wood.
The value of a full cord of bundled wood is from $675 to more than $1,000.
The Firewood Wrapper shown here can be built for under $50.

Construction time is about 2 hours.
Construction done with simple welding tools: Welder and Cut off Saw

When completed it takes less than 1 minute to wrap a bundle of wood. This time is from the point where the first piece is picked up to be placed in the wrapper until the completed bundle is removed from the wrapper.

This system uses a 5-inch roll of shrink wrap, which sells for 11.99 per roll from Ace Hardware. One roll will wrap approx.

1 cord of wood (roughly 250 bundles).
