If you have found yourself a snowplow, and want to fit it up to your S10 for winter,? here is what you need!
Set of blue prints for a snow plow mount that will fit on an S10 pickup or?S-10?Blazer or the comparable Oldsmobile Bravada.? I actually built a mount?(pictured for reference) specifically?for my 1992 S10 Blazer 4×4 as I could not find one that would fit.? I have since sold the Western snowplow and the mount and am now offering plans to build the mount.
This snowplow mount design is extremely heavy duty and will provide years of trouble free service. It was originally designed for an older Western snowplow, but could easily be modified for an A-frame of a different width. It mounts in place of the plastic splash shield underneath the front of the S10. As I mentioned, it is specifically for the 92 style of 4×4 Blazer or pickup, but could easily be modified to fit any of the older style S10’s or GMC Jimmys. I looked at an 85 Jimmy the other day and it looks like it would fit with the addition of drilling one extra hole. The mount will come apart in two pieces for easy installation. The pump mounting part can easily be removed for the off-season and the main mount which mounts to the frame can be left on all year round.

Plans include detailed CAD drawings, 3D drawings and reference photos.? Fabrication requires basic to moderate mechanical ability and moderate cutting/welding skills. Even if you can’t weld, you could take these blue prints to a local welding shop for fabrication.
